What each outcome means

The outcomes offered for a knock and for a call, and why they differ.

Every logged event carries one outcome. Which outcomes you are offered depends on the type.

At a door

  • Left a Note covers nobody home. The name reflects what you normally do about it.

  • Conversion is a real conversation with someone who matters.

  • Appointment is a booked follow-up.

  • Not Interested is a clear no.

  • Other is anything the four above do not describe. Put the detail in the notes.

On a call

  • No Answer

  • Left Voicemail

  • Wrong Number

  • Conversion

  • Appointment

  • Not Interested

  • Other

Why the first one is named twice

No Answer and Left a Note are the same underlying result recorded through different channels, so reporting can count them together. They are labelled for the channel because "Left a Note" makes no sense on a phone call and "No Answer" understates what you did at a door.

The two phone-only outcomes have no doorstep equivalent. You cannot reach a wrong number or a voicemail box at a front door.

What outcomes drive

Conversion is what the leaderboard ranks on. Outcomes can also trigger automation rules your company has set up, most commonly moving a lead's status. Ask your admin what is configured before assuming an outcome is only a label.
