Creating today's route

Turn My List into an ordered driving route.

Requires the Work own list permission.

Create Route on My List builds a driving route from the leads you have reserved today.

Start and end points

  • Start point is required. Your office address is the usual answer.

  • End point is optional. Set it to your home address if you want the route to finish there rather than at the last door.

Both fields suggest addresses as you type. Pick a suggestion rather than typing the address in full where you can: a picked suggestion arrives with coordinates already attached, which is one less thing to look up.

Both fields remember what you last used, so the second day is one tap.

What happens

Addresses are looked up once per lead and kept, so building a route over the same leads again is faster. The stops are then ordered to keep total driving time down. This is a real optimization, not the order you selected them in, and the route is not capped at a particular number of stops.

Total travel time appears on the route once it is built.

Rebuilding

Creating a route again replaces what you see with the new one. Your route is whatever you built most recently today.

Like reservations, a route belongs to the company day it was made in. Tomorrow the Route page starts empty and asks you to build a new one.

If it will not build

If the Route page says Google Maps is not configured, the API key is missing or invalid. An admin has to set it. Nothing about this is fixable from the field.
